The formal part of the Summit featured presentations and lively discussions on the following topics: “Web based product design and its consequences on packaging”, “The future of POP marketing – Why manufacturers of branded goods and retailers will care more about customised sales promotion” and “Digital corrugated printing – Outlook and opportunities.”
The delegates moved to the factory Durst where there was an opportunity to see demonstrations of the very latest corrugated digital printing technology and how it can be incorporated into a production workflow. These included a presentation of i-cut® digital cutting technology with a Kongsberg i-XP and the first viewing of Durst’s new Rho 750 HS Corrugated inkjet printer. This machine is the latest development of the world’s only UV inkjet printer dedicated to printing on corrugated. The new printer is now available with 80% more productivity without loss in print quality.
