Recyclable and economical plastic dog food bags

Mondi is expanding its portfolio of prefabricated and sustainable plastic bags with FlexiBag Reinforced, a range of recyclable packaging based on mono-PE, with improved puncture resistance, rigidity and waterproofing.

The level of protective barriers is adjustable, against grease, oxygen and humidity, while preserving the freshness of the contents. Additionally, a custom percentage of post-consumer recycled content (RPC) can be added to reduce the use of virgin plastics. Pet food manufacturer Mera has successfully introduced FlexiBag Reinforced on its machines. The “pure green” packaging contains 35% RPC content for its 10 kg bags of vegan dry dog ​​food.
