Maier Packaging becomes part of Optima packaging group

Maier Packaging GmbH becomes a fully-owned subsidiary of Optima packaging group GmbH, Schwaebisch Hall. The two companies share a long-standing business relationship.
The company has been set up in 1985 and is now in special solutions for production and packaging lines in dairy industry.
“Versatile, quick and flexible” – this is how the company’s founder Stefan Maier sums up his company’s philosophy. Its focus is on revamping and optimizing existing yogurt thermoforming and filling lines, building of individual modules for form fill seal machines (FFS), building of banding and labeling systems and punch and mold manufacturing. Most customers are in the dairy and food industry.
In order to be prepared for future growth, the company will move to new premises early in 2019. Start of construction will be June 1, 2018. The new building is expected to be ready for occupancy by end of February 2019. The 32,000 square feet building will provide sufficient space and a modern work environment to meet future needs.
