A single-material recyclable film
posted Saturday 29 February 2020
In order to meet the different expectations of the customers, especially in the field of organic, the objective is to offer a packaging that is 100% recyclable, has a low carbon footprint and meets the existing sorting instructions (existing paper/carton bin).
Malengé Packaging has developed a single-material film (paper base) that protects the powders from moisture and light. Without aluminum, the packaging can be recycled into the existing collection circuit. The supplier is continuing its research, working with research centres to propose protective and progressive barriers. The product continues to be tested and adapted to traditional packaging machines, already in place at our customers.
