posted Friday 28 January 2022
AR Metallizing, a subsidiary of Nissha group, announced that it will change its name to Nissha Metallizing Solutions. There are no changes to AR Metallizing’s operations, management, services and/or products.
AR Metallizing has manufacturing sites in five countries (Belgium, Brazil, Germany, Italy and the US) and the name change will see all locations rebranded to Nissha Metallizing Solutions. The name change reflects Nissha’s vision to align the names of all its subsidiaries to create a more cohesive and recognizable brand on a global level. Nissha has had a track record of growth through its international acquisition strategy, which has seen them acquire several companies over the past few years.
All five AR Metallizing plants were acquired between 2015 and 2020 by Nissha. The company is the global market leader in the manufacturing of metallized paper for the food, beverage, and consumer packaged goods industries and is quickly gaining attention as an eco-friendly alternative.
“When Nissha bought AR Metallizing in 2015, it made sense to keep AR Metallizing’s name as it was a brand that was known and trusted in the industry. Now is the perfect time to rebrand and add the Nissha name to all business entities. By including its name in all subsidiaries, we aim to create a more unified global brand. The change also represents an opportunity for us to embrace our future as a leading provider of quality metallized packaging solutions for food, beverage, and consumer goods on top of our standard metallized paper products.,” explains Giorgio Bosso (picture), CEO.
Nissha, founded in 1929, employs more than 5,000 employees within 66 subsidiaries globally. The firm produces industrial materials, devices, and medical technologies. Nissha Metallizing Solutions is the global market leader in the manufacturing of metallized paper for use in the food, beverage and consumer packaged goods industries. Nissha Metallizing Solutions is a fully owned subsidiary of Nissha.
