The introduction of case packing machines into the Proseal equipment portfolio and the arrival of sister company AutoCoding Systems (ACS) into the JBT Corporation, mean Proseal is now able to offer customers a complete end of line packing solution, in particular meeting the unique challenges of individual applications.
Proseal’s recently launched CP3™ case packing machine has the capability to handle a wide variety of pack formats, including but not limited to, trays, pots, sandwich packs, bags, bottles and cans. Coupled with Proseal’s advanced control systems and range of conveyors, this provides a fast and efficient packing operation.
The availability of ACS’s modular software packages enables all packing operations from sealing, coding, and inspection of the primary pack to case packing and labelling and final pallet labelling to be centrally monitored and controlled. As well as minimizing coding and packaging errors and helping to improve overall efficiency, this provides a variety of a value-added benefits such as data capture and inspection reporting for line performance assessment and compliance requirements.
The automated solution also replaces manual paper-based systems to minimize the risk of errors and ensure full visibility and traceability of customers’ orders from initial placement through manufacture and packing to onward dispatch. This combination of Proseal’s and ACS’s technologies enables the companies to devise bespoke solutions that meet the specific requirements of individual customers and deliver enhanced quality and efficiency throughout their production and packing operations.
“Customers are increasingly looking for single-source solutions. Our case packing machinery and ancillary equipment offer the same reliability, durable construction and high performance of our tray sealing machines; coupled with the many advanced features of the ACS software, this provides an unbeatable combination to help companies maximise the effectiveness of their end of line packing operations,” commented Tony Burgess, Sales Director of Proseal.
