UNITED STATES: A sleeve for aluminum cans

The CCL Label CANtastic sleeve has been designed to offer maximum hygiene (to reinforce confidence in the relationship with the consumer), but also extended marketing possibilities on the lid.
“This new packaging product is synonymous with connection and protection for aluminum cans: it guarantees maximum cleanliness from production to point of sale in supermarkets, convenience stores or gas stations, where cans are often displayed openly in an unprotected environment to grab the consumer’s attention,”notes Reinhard Streit, vice president and general manager of Food & Beverage at CCL Label. The pandemic has changed the relationship of consumers to brands. According to Ipsos, two-thirds of consumers (66%) are concerned about the safety of their food and, for McKinsey, concerns related to food safety and hygiene are among the top 6 trends in the packaging industry.
