Independent contract packing specialist WePack announced its partnership with software provider Nulogy at Packaging Innovations & Empack 2024 Event, as the growing business focuses on enhancing the agility and resilience of its operations.
WePack recognised the need for a digital solution to enhance its agility and responsiveness and Nulogy’s Shop Floor Solution emerged as the ideal choice for the business. Tailored specifically for the intricate procedures of contract packing, Nulogy was seen as essential to meet the demands from brands as they increasingly rely on external partners for high-quality, innovative and cost-effective product delivery.
With over 30 years’ industry expertise, WePack is a leading player in specialised packing services, working with renowned brands across the food, cosmetics, high-end consumer goods and agriculture sectors. Offering a comprehensive range of services including bottling, sachet and pouch filling, hand assembly projects, rework and rectification services, WePack’s in-house design team is known for its progressive approach in navigating the complexities of the contract packing industry.
The Packaging Innovations & Empack 2024 Event provided the ideal stage for both WePack and Nulogy with Josephine Coombe, Chief Commercial Officer for Nulogy in Europe and Mick Clark, Managing Director at WePack to announce the new partnership.
Mick Clark said, “Nulogy’s Shop Floor Solution provides us with invaluable real-time visibility and traceability into our production and warehouse activities and gives us the power to scale our operations and continue to deliver the exceptional service our customers know us for.”
WePack will use Nulogy to digitalise its end-to-end contract packing workflows, providing heightened visibility and traceability over inventory and materials, whilst improving forecasting, labour capacity, line efficiency and quality control. The project begins in March 2024 with training and full implementation at WePack’s production site in Derbyshire scheduled to be completed in Q2.
